Technology at Walsingham is evolving in the Upper School with the implementation of a Bring Your Own Device standard for the 2017-18 school year. Within the recommended hardware parameters, such a model affords students freedom to choose a device that most closely meets individual hardware preferences and learning needs.

The minimum configurations below are based on the intended curriculum, value for the students during their enrollment at Walsingham, and potential use in a higher education environment.

Students who wish to have a more robust configuration are certainly able to make that personal decision and can use the specs below as a guide.

Although most devices are purchased with a one-year warranty in place, students are strongly encouraged to purchase an extended warranty.

Students are responsible for the installation of antivirus and spyware protection. If an antivirus program is not configured and updated on the device, it will not be able to join the Walsingham network.
