What is the the application process like?

The admissions process is rolling throughout the year. After contacting the Director of Admissions, the first steps will include taking a tour, completing an in-person interview, then applying online.

How are admissions decisions made?

Admission to Walsingham Academy is selective with consideration given to the applicant’s past academic performance, teacher recommendations, test scores, entrance exam, and personal interview. Although metrics are an important part of the process, we seek to not simply qualify a student by a test score; instead, we strive to get to know our applicants as individuals with unique characteristics, strengths, interests, and contributions to the community. By doing so, we pride ourselves on building a unique and talented student body in an environment where education does not end when the bell rings.
