Welcome to Summer Daze, Walsingham Academy’s action-packed, fun-filled, 8-week summer camp program open to the entire community. Our camps are geared for children entering grades PreK (3 year olds) through 9th, and run from June 10 through August 2.
This summer we are back with many of your favorite camps, as well as a few new and exciting ones. We have expanded our camps for the youngest campers, offering a full 8-week program for PreK and Kindergarten ages. All our camps offer children an opportunity to play together, learn together, and relax together.
Camps are taught by Walsingham Academy staff, teachers, and alumni. Our handpicked staff will provide your camper with quality personal attention and valuable instruction. We are committed to providing your child with an exciting and memorable camp experience.
All of our camps have limited enrollment and we operate on a "first come, first served” basis, so sign up soon!

LOCATION: Camp headquarters is located in the foyer of the Chismer Athletic Complex. All campers, including ones needing before camp care, must be dropped of at this location. The only exception to this drop off location are the Little Learners campers NOT attending Before Care. They will be dropped off and picked up at the Lower School Cafeteria. Please look for signs as you enter the campus to direct you to the appropriate entrance.
DROP OFF AND PICKUP TIMES: Normal drop off time is 8:50 AM - 9:00 AM. Pickup for half day camps is 12:00 PM - 12:10 PM. Pickup for full day camps or extended camps is 2:00 PM - 2:10 PM.Campers dropped off between 7:30 AM - 8:50 AM or picked up between 2:10 PM - 5:00 PM will be sent to Before/After Care. Please see the Before/After Care tab for fees and more information.
SPECIAL PICK-UP DURING CAMP HOURS: We need advance notification in writing when a parent/guardian wishes to pick a camper up during camp hours. Any child leaving camp during camp hours must be picked up from Chismer Athletic Complex or the Lower School Cafeteria for Little Learners.
LUNCH: Any camper staying after noon should bring clearly labeled bagged lunches with drinks.
CAMP STORE: Snacks such as chips, Little Debbie cakes and Icees will be sold during the morning break and lunch.
AGES: Grade level requirements for each camp are listed in the camp descriptions. Grade levels are determined by the grade the child is entering in the Fall. For any camps with a PreK designation, the child must be at least 3 years old by September 30, 2018 and be fully potty trained.FEES: All fee(s) are due at the time of registration. No phone applications will be accepted.
REFUND POLICY: Twenty percent (20%) of the total fee for any camp is non-refundable. A refund of the remainder will be given if you submit a written request three weeks prior to the start date of the session(s) for which you have registered. Please allow three to four weeks processing time for a refund. No refund will be given if the camper is dismissed due to disciplinary action.
Extended Camp is a service that can be added to any half-day camp normally ending at noon. It extends the camp day from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. During this time, your camper will have access to any age appropriate camp that is offered. Campers who take advantage of this option should bring a lunch. If you are registered for a half-day camp you must register your child for Extended Camp if you plan on using the After Care program.
Times: 12:00 PM– 2:00 PM
Before and After Care is offered to provide additional care for your camper before or after regular camp hours.
Any child attending a half day camp (ending at noon) that enrolls in After Care, must also enroll in Extended Camp (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM).
Times: Before Care is 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM and After Care is 2:10 PM - 5:00 PM.
Any child dropped off during these times will be charged for Before/After Care.
Fees: $15 per day, or the option to pay in full for $75.
A late fee of $10.00 per minute will be charged if a child is not picked up by 5:00 PM.
