What Sets Walsingham Apart
Young children thrive when given time each day to connect with friends and engage in outdoor play using age-appropriate toys and equipment. That’s why every Lower School student at Walsingham enjoys daily recess.
Our campus features three dedicated playgrounds, each designed to support active play and exploration. These spaces include jungle gyms, swing sets, a basketball court, a soccer field, and shaded wooded areas—providing a variety of options for movement, creativity, and fun.

Raising Children To Be Good Citizens
Instruction at Walsingham Academy is based on the tenants of a Mercy Education, with faith-based learning in classrooms of every grade level.
We instruct students on how they can best apply their talents and skills to serve those in need, meeting in multi-age Peacemakers groups and coming together as a community to celebrate Advent, Christmas, and Easter.

After School Opportunities
Students in Grades 3-7 have the opportunity to join clubs such as coding, band, art, Chinese culture, chess, cooking, math, yearbook, STEM, jewelry making, forensics, the Green Team, after-school sports, and more.
Each club meets for one of three different sessions during the year, with each session lasting eight weeks, giving students the chance to explore different activities and expand their horizons even after the bell rings.
