Walsingham Academy raises an outstanding $200,000 at the 53rd Annual Dinner and Auction
The 53rd Annual Dinner and Auction, held on February 22, 2025, at Kingsmill Resort, featured a masquerade theme and was a night filled with fun, fundraising, and heart. This year’s event raised an incredible $200,000 in support of the school’s mission—a testament to the unwavering generosity of the Walsingham community and a true display of Walsingham spirit.
Sister Mary Jeanne Oesterle expressed her gratitude, saying, "I was thrilled to hear the final result of this year’s Auction! Countless hours of work went into making that night come to life. I remain overwhelmed by the generosity poured out by the Walsingham community—by volunteers, sponsors, and attendees—truly, your support is such a gift to our school."
The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedication and contributions of so many. We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who donated an auction item, to our generous Corporate, Community, and Grandparent sponsors, to our wonderful attendees, to our kind Paddle Raise donors, and to the hardworking Parent Board volunteers. A special acknowledgment goes to our co-chairs, Ashley Hack and Aga Drygala, whose leadership and commitment played a pivotal role in bringing this event to life.
The funds raised from this year’s Auction will go toward updating our Upper School Library. This space is used for classes, meetings, and social events throughout the year. Updating the Upper School Library will not only enhance its functionality but also create a more inviting atmosphere for students. Modern furniture and technology enhancements will transform the space, making it more conducive to learning, collaboration, and social interaction.
We are truly blessed to have such a strong and supportive community. Thank you for making this year’s Auction a night to remember!
