On June 24th, Williamsburg Mayor, Douglas Pons, gave official recognition to Walsingham Varsity Baseball for their tremendous accomplishment of defending the VISAA Division III State Title for four years in a row. Coach Ian Heisel was recognized for his twelfth year of leading the varsity baseball team.

In his proclamation, Mayor Pons acknowledged the hard work, dedication, talent, and teamwork that this state championship team displayed to reach their goals. The mayor’s proclamation is evidence of the community support that rallied behind the Trojans. Coach Heisel earns the well-deserved praises for all his work with Trojan baseball players.
