We are excited to announce that Ben Rutter from the Varsity Golf Team and Remington Freeman from the Varsity Track team are this week’s Co-Athletes of the Week. In last week’s TCIS Golf Championship, Ben played one of his best rounds of the year, leading the Trojans with a score of 77. Ben finished the event 7th overall, earning him All-Conference honors. The Trojans golf team finished the year 5th in the TCIS Championship and 4th in the VISAA D3 State Championship. Remington had another week filled with impressive accomplishments. In Tuesdays TCIS championship meet Remington finished first in both the 1600- and 3200-meter runs. She also claimed 3rd in the 800-meter run, which helped her to earn TCIS Girls Track and Field, Most Valuable Runner. At Saturdays State Catholic Track Meet, Remington went on to set 2 new school records. She broke her own record set earlier this year in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:17.02 and set a new school record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.47.

Congratulations Ben and Remington, and Go Trojans!
