We are excited to announce that Gene O’Hallarn from the Varsity Cross Country Team is this week’s Athletes of the Week. Gene finished in 1st place at last week’s Walsingham Invitational with a time of 17 min and 55 seconds in the 5K Race, helping the team to a second-place overall finish. Coach Higgins had this to say about Gene’s performance, “Gene had an outstanding meet on Friday winning by over a minute with no other competitors in site of the finish line. He has positioned himself to be one of the top runners in the conference and state after a great summer of training.”
