Walsingham Academy's senior class visited the Williamsburg House of Mercy and were given the chance to experience first hand through a role-playing scenario what the homeless in our area might be facing as they come to the House of Mercy for help.

Also, the seniors performed a variety of service projects including food organizing, coin rolling, welcome bag preparation, food pantry shelf stocking and construction of a raised bed herb garden.

The experience also included a presentation by House of Mercy's executive director, Shannon Woloszynowski, who enlightened the students regarding the number of people who seek help at the center.
