Seniors Lead Walsingham Cross Country at TCIS Championship

Patrick Murphy and Clare Kinney led the Walsingham cross country teams at the TCIS Championship Thursday.

Patrick took second place, covering the 3.1 mile course at Newport News Park in 16:29. He finished just 9 seconds behind Owen Richards of Cape Henry. The boys team was finished 6th of 11, with Norfolk Academy winning and Cape Henry coming in second. Jake Falcone had and excellent day for the boys as our second across, finishing in 18:55 to come in 21st.

Clare Kinney took fourth place in the girls varsity race, finishing in 21:31. The girls varsity did not have enough runners for a team score. In the JV girls race, Walsingham was 3rd of 3 scoring teams. They were led by Madelaine Gonzales and Kate Digges, who finished 8th and 9th.
