Five of Walsingham Academy's finest singers -- sophomores Grace Arruda, Jocelyn Covaney and Olivia Robinson, junior Emily Zielinski and senior Grace Riordan -- were selected for District Chorus after November auditions.

As a result of those auditions, Hampton Roads schools recently came together for rehearsals, a concert and All-State auditions.

Grace Arruda, our Alto 2, will represent Walsingham in April at the All-State Choir in Richmond. Our Soprano 1, Olivia Robinson, will be the first Soprano called up if another student cannot perform.

"Please give these ladies a big congratulations when you see them!" music teacher Rebecca Hartt said. "They have worked very hard to get here."
