A $1,000 gift from Colonial Eye Care will be used for Upper School students to attend an enrichment program in the sciences.

Dr. Brent Segeleon along with Dr. Kelsey Guth presented Upper School Director Angie Baker, Director of Advancement Lindsey Torres and Walsingham Academy President Sister Mary Jeanne Oesterle with the check on Friday, Sept. 11.

"We are so grateful to Drs. Segeleon and Guth for providing these funds to cover the cost of enrichment opportunities for deserving Trojans interested in exploring their curiosities in the areas of science or engineering," Mrs. Baker said. "It is encouraging to know that community partners like Colonial Eye Care are willing to invest in our future community leaders."
