The Advent season and its joyful anticipation of Christmas kicks off at Walsingham with our annual Lighting on the Green tradition on Friday, December 1 at 5:00 p.m. in Mercy Hall. This event is open to everyone in the community, so bring the whole family and help us celebrate the start of the holiday season! The evening includes musical performances by our students, a live Nativity scene, and culminates as we switch on our very own Christmas tree, followed by cookies and hot cocoa.
Parents, we need your help in adding to the joy of the evening! The Parent Board is kindly asking parents to donate individually wrapped cookies (two per bag), mini marshmallows, candy canes, and a few other items. To sign up, please click here. Cookie and other items can be dropped off at the Upper School Front Office by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1 (or earlier!).
