Welcome to Walsingham Academy's Lower School
 Walsingham Academy is a vibrant educational community where students, parents, and staff work together to create a positive, caring, and Christ-centered atmosphere.
The Lower School offers a challenging curriculum, developing a strong foundation for each student, enriching, extending, and providing elective opportunities. The curriculum has been developed using the curriculum documents of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond and the Commonwealth of Virginia as a baseline.
The Lower School is a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and is ranked in the top 10% of schools nationally measured by standardized academic achievement tests. In addition, the Lower School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA).
