We
are excited to present the NEW Lower School Physical Education uniform
logo and shirt design for 2010 - 2011.
The following dates will be opportunities to purchase shirts.
We ask that you access through the LS Gym door on these first three dates in August:
1. Tuesday, August 3 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM
2. Tuesday, August 10 from 4:30 – 6:00PM
3. Tuesday, August 17 from 4:30 – 6:00PM

Friday, August 27, the first week of school, the Spirit Store tent will
be set up on the green (weather permitting) for afternoon carline from
2:00pm - 3:30pm.
Uniform
shorts may be purchased at the store of your choosing. They must be a
solid black athletic short and the appropriate length which is: with
hands at your sides, fingertips should not touch the skin, nor should
the length be below the knee.
This
will be a transition year for the PE uniform change. If you have the
original PE polo and blue shorts from last year, you may still wear
those for the 2010-2011 school year.
Walsingham Academy Cell Phone Use GuidelinesThere is NO CELL PHONE USE during Morning Drop Off and Carline (7:45 am – 8:15 am).
There is NO CELL PHONE USE during Afternoon Dismissal and Carline (2:50 pm – 3:15 pm).
• Cell phones are not allowed when entering the campus during drop off and dismissal time.
• Cell phone use is only permitted when you have arrived in car line, have parked, and before students are dismissed.
• Once car line dismissal has started at 2:50, there is no cell phone use allowed.

VIRTUS: Protecting God's Children
Walsingham Academy is proud to have parents and community members volunteer in our building. Our students are more successful thanks to the involvement of these volunteers.
All volunteers are required to complete VIRTUS: Protecting God's Children training. This training is offered through the Richmond Diocese.
If you have not completed this training, please go to www.virtusonline.org and register. Sessions are offered throughout the state. Click on "Registration" in left-hand toolbar
Select "Richmond, VA (Diocese)"
Select "Walsingham Academy Lower School" or
"Walsingham Academy Upper School" as your place of work/volunteer
Fill out remaining information and select your VIRTUS session
After completion, please turn in a copy of your certificate to Mrs. Scheil in the Lower School main office.
