The Spirit of Walsingham Award
This award recognizes a commitment to volunteerism at Walsingham Academy, performed
by a parent, grandparent, alum, or friend of the Academy. Award criteria state that
“this recipient shall embrace the “spirit” of Walsingham Academy.”
The Sisters of Mercy Education Award
This award recognizes dedication to the profession of education by a current or past
Walsingham Academy faculty member or an alum. Award criteria state that “the recipient
shall have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of excellence in the field of education.”
The Catherine McAuley Service Award
This award recognizes a Walsingham Academy parent, past parent, alum, or friend who
has excelled in the area of community service. Award criteria state that "the recipient shall
display the qualities of compassion & stewardship in the gift of service to others."
Excellence in Business Award
This award recognizes a Walsingham alum for his/her contributions in the business arena.
Award criteria state that "the receipient shall have developed, started, or directed a
business with vision and responsibility of a good corporate citizen."
The Academy's Athletic Award
This award recognizes an alum, coach, or athletic director for his/her contributions
in the area of Athletics.
The Walsingham Academy Lifetime Achievement Award
This
award recognizes an individual/company for outstanding contributions to
the overall
mission of Walsingham Academy. The recipient shall have
emulated the traditions of
service for the greater good, established by
Catherine McAuley.
